I arrived to Milan near the end of 2010 to study for my master and because of my studies I was’t able to learn the italian language. I was able to learn only a few words to help me in shops, bar or restaurants but you cannot have a proper conversation with someone by only greeting them or asking how their day was 😛 So I decided to start in Scuola Leonardo da Vinci, which is actually near my old school DOMUS Academy and inside the NABA Campus. The great thing about it’s location is that it’s near the Navigli Canals and Porta Genova, where there are good places for students to go to “Happy Hours”. The teachers are really friendly and they encouraged students to speak in italian during the whole lesson. The lessons were fun and involved activities inside and outside the school. The academic course which the school also offered, helped me for the my preparation for entrance exam of Politecnico di Milano. But the most important thing which I got from the school was that I was able to meet a lot of people from different countries and I have made great friends 🙂 I visit the school just to see what people are up to but I would like to say from here as well to each teacher I got to study from and friends which I have met: I’m grateful to have met you all and I miss everyone u_u Cheers 🙂
